Deconstructing Krissy's Tweet

Impertinent Krissy strikes again

Thursday is supposed to be a stress-free and relaxing day for me. But, I guess, talagang naglipana sa mundong ibabaw ang mga contravida, like the presidential sister - Krissy. A day after Supreme Court handed down a decision on Hacienda Luisita, here she is twitting, shopping around for sympathy.

I was once told that Krissy is a member of PeNoy's crisis committee. So whenever there's critical issue talagang may eksena ang hitad. Kaya siguro, we should have expected the eksenadora. hihihi

But ang di ko kinaya ay ang tweet mismo ni Krissy. Ito ang tweet ng mokang:
we respect the Supreme Court, we survived even when they took everything from us, including my Dad's life-& we will survive even this.
Let us try to analyze this latest senseless tweet of Krissy.

First part of the tweet mentioned something about "respect." Respect is too a big a word for someone like Krissy to understand and honestly mean.

Didn't she disrespected Aling Coring, her mother, when she went against her wishes for her to stop having affair with married men? Was she respectful when she twitted that bagay ang abnoy niyang kapatid kay Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra who's happily married, when she visited the country last January? Anong akala niya kay PM Shinawatra, pariwara kagaya niya? Kalokah ha!

At noong miting de avance ng LP sa Quezon Memorial Circle, was she respectful of Mar Roxas and Korina Sanchez na hindi man lang niya binati nor in-acknowledge when she spoke before their hakot crowd?

What does Krissy exactly mean when she twitted "they took everything from us?" Ano ba ang kinuha sa salot niyang angkan? Even at the height of the Marcos dictatorship, their family was far far better off than most Filipinos. Di ba't nakukuha pa ngang mag-mahjongg ni Aling Coring?

When Pres. Magsaysay lent the Cojuangcos public funds to purchase what is now Hacienda Luisita in 1957, there's a proviso that after 10 years, the land will be subjected to land reform and distributed to its tenants. Pero ano ang ginawa nila? Di ba't they refused to fulfill their obligation at ipinagkait sa mga kawawang magsasaka ang lupain? So now, tell me Krissy, sino ang nang-harbat kanino?

Krissy, as expected, did not fail to mention her father. This is necropolitics at its finest. But let me remind you, your dad was part of the Hacienda problem. It was Ninoy who convinced Pres. Magsaysay to lend the Cojuangcos public fund to purchase it from Tabacalera. Noong nasa politics pa, your dad made sure that Marcos will not be able to take the hacienda from your family. Didn't Ninoy even attempted to strike a deal with Marcos - he will retire from politics and stop criticizing the dictatorship basta drop lang ng Estado ang case against Tarlac Development Corporation (TADECO), which is the holding company of the Cojuangcos wherein HLI is a subsidiary?

Yes, of course you are free to believe that you and your family will survive. But to be honest, I am not sure about this one. And I am looking forward to the day when pagbabayaran niyo lahat ng kawalanghiyaan na ginawa ninyo sa bayang Pilipinas.
