Deconstructing Krissy's Tweet

Impertinent Krissy strikes again

Thursday is supposed to be a stress-free and relaxing day for me. But, I guess, talagang naglipana sa mundong ibabaw ang mga contravida, like the presidential sister - Krissy. A day after Supreme Court handed down a decision on Hacienda Luisita, here she is twitting, shopping around for sympathy.

I was once told that Krissy is a member of PeNoy's crisis committee. So whenever there's critical issue talagang may eksena ang hitad. Kaya siguro, we should have expected the eksenadora. hihihi

we respect the Supreme Court, we survived even when they took everything from us, including my Dad's life-& we will survive even this.
Let us try to analyze this latest senseless tweet of Krissy.

First part of the tweet mentioned something about "respect." Respect is too a big a word for someone like Krissy to understand and honestly mean.

Didn't she disrespected Aling Coring, her mother, when she went against her wishes for her to stop having affair with married men? Was she respectful when she twitted that bagay ang abnoy niyang kapatid kay Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra who's happily married, when she visited the country last January? Anong akala niya kay PM Shinawatra, pariwara kagaya niya? Kalokah ha!

At noong miting de avance ng LP sa Quezon Memorial Circle, was she respectful of Mar Roxas and Korina Sanchez na hindi man lang niya binati nor in-acknowledge when she spoke before their hakot crowd?

What does Krissy exactly mean when she twitted "they took everything from us?" Even at the height of the Marcos dictatorship, their family was far far better off than most Filipinos. Di ba't nakukuha pa ngang mag-mahjongg ni Aling Coring?

When Pres. Magsaysay lent the Cojuangcos public funds to purchase what is now Hacienda Luisita in 1957, there's a proviso that after 10 years, the land will be subjected to land reform and distributed to its tenants. Pero ano ang ginawa nila? Di ba't they refused to fulfill their obligation at ipinagkait sa mga kawawang magsasaka ang lupain? So now, tell me Krissy, sino ang nang-harbat kanino?

Krissy, as expected, did not fail to mention her father. This is necropolitics at its finest. But let me remind you, your dad was part of the Hacienda problem. It was Ninoy who convinced Pres. Magsaysay to lend the Cojuangcos public fund to purchase it from Tabacalera. Noong nasa politics pa, your dad made sure that Marcos will not be able to take the hacienda from your family. Didn't Ninoy even attempted to strike a deal with Marcos - he will retire from politics and stop criticizing the dictatorship basta drop lang ng Estado ang case against Tarlac Development Corporation (TADECO), which is the holding company of the Cojuangcos wherein HLI is a subsidiary?

Yes, of course you are free to believe that you and your family will survive. But to be honest, I am not sure about this one. And I am looking forward to the day when pagbabayaran niyo lahat ng kawalanghiyaan na ginawa ninyo sa bayang Pilipinas.

Noong panahon ng kampanya, PeNoy affirmed his unequivocal support for the RH Bill. In fact, he was one of the few presidential candidates who bravely made his position known, not minding the possible reprisal from the Catholic bloc (if there's such a thing). Isa pa, ang main base ng kanyang supporters - ang mga so-called civil society groups, ay very much active for the enactment of the bill

Then, on the occasion of PeNoy's visit to the United States, his handlers struck a deal with influential Church leaders to make him a recipient of an honorary degree from Fordham University. PeNoy was the eighth president to receive such conferment from the educational institution. Before him, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo was conferred Doctor of Laws in 2003. But such conferment on PeNoy was at the expense of RH Bill advocates. PeNoy betrayed those who believed him on the issue. PeNoy aborted the RH Bill!

Fordham University was founded by Roman Catholic Diocese of New York and used to be ran by Jesuits. The Philippine Roman Catholic Church plays a role in conferment of the award. It is therefore not surprising that the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos and Erap Estrada, did not receive the award.

If PeNoy and his minions will disprove this, I challenge them - dangle incentives to congressmen to finally tackle and pass the bill tulad nung ginagawa nila kapag meron silang bill na gustong i-railroad.

Alone Again, Naturally

The face that only Aling Coring can love
I wasn't surprised at all when I heard the news of PeNoy Aquino-Grace Lee break-up. What amused me is that the alleged break-up happened last April 13. Many superstitious Filipinos fear the dreaded Friday the 13th, but this is, I guess, the day that Korean-born Grace Lee found her enlightenment.

Grace Lee joins the growing list of women who dumped PeNoy. But nothing to worry because PeNoy is no stranger to being alone.

We will never know the reason for the break-up. Kung dati, ang bilis ng mga Palace boys na i-mention ang pangalan ni Grace, ngayon naman, they are mum. Which is okay naman, kasi I myself is not interested in the details.

At para gumanti sa panggagago ni PeNoy, below are some pick-up lines jokes:

PeNoy: Ketchup ka ba?
Grace: Bakit?

Grace: Hindi. Bakit?
PeNoy: Kasi parang gusto kitang sibakin. hehehe
Grace: Aba, ang ungas na ito . . . Eh yung youngest sister mo buko ba siya?
PeNoy: Ha? Bakit?
Grace: Kasi parang ang hilig niya magpa-biyak! hihihi

PeNoy: Hindi ka ba napapagod?
Grace: Hindi.

Grace: Hindi noh! Bakit?
PeNoy: Kasi you color my world.
Grace: Ungas!

PeNoy: May lason ba yang mata mo?
Grace: Wala ah. Bakit?
PeNoy: Parang nakakamatay ang titg mo.
Grace: Ay wag kang mag-alala, masamang damo ka!

PeNoy: Doktor ka ba?
Grace: Artista ako noh! Bakit?

Grace: Oo!
PeNoy: Aaaaahhh . . . Pass! Pass!

Mga Kampon ng Kadiliman

Welcome Back to the Dark Ages
Kumpirmado! Sertipikado!

At ngayon, mukhang history is repeating itself. Nauulit. Paulit-ulit. Para lang Market! Market! Kalokah.

Hay! Sana Oktubre na! hihihi

Awed and Shocked

American Idol 11 Finalist Jessica Sanchez
I was totally awed by the performance of Jessica Sanchez couple of nights ago. I definitely agree with Randy Jackson's comment that with the rendition of Jazmine Sullivan's "Stuttering," Jessica raised the bar in the competition. Her strong performance showcased her vocal prowess and superb technical mastery.

So I was naturally shocked to learn that Jessica Sanchez received the lowest number of votes. Luckily, the judges decided to use their option to save her, thus tiding her over to the next round. Somehow, I feel that judges did not exercise the singular save option because they are saving it for Jessica Sanchez, Colton Dixon or Elise Testone.

But what shcked me even more is the fact there were some brainless Filipinos who are quick to cry racial discrimination. Let me point out the fact that Jessica Sanchez is just as American as the rest of the contestants. While many Filipinos insist to see her as a Fil-Am (she is infact of Fil-Mexican descent), I am sure that judges and the those American Idol voters see her as a contestant who hails from San Diego, California.

Besides, I find it hard to believe that there's racial discrimination in a show produced by a British, hosted by a Southerner and has as judges, a Yankee, a Latina recording artist and a Black producer-songwriter.

American Idol is a talent search whose winner is decided by the votes cast by viewers. Considering the fact that Americans voted Dubya to the presidency thrice goes to show that sometimes, that American do commit mistake when it comes to some serious choosing.

Results of the voting in American Idol is primarily dictated not by race nor gender but by geography. A quick scan of the show is more popular in Southern states and Southerners tend to take it more seriously. A past study revealed that Southerners tend to spend more to make their homegrown talents win the contest. This explains why 6 of the past 10 winners came from the region. David Cook is from Missouri which is considered as Upland South, so make that 7.

Jordin Sparks is from Arizona while the biggest AI winner of them all, Carrie Underwood is an Oklahoman so this makes them more Southerner, too.

Jessica Sanchez, may or may not win this season, but this shouldn't worry her fans. Winning the title was never a guarantee to succeed. Jennifer Hudson is more successful than Fantasia. Runner-up Adam Lambert has more commercial success than Kris Allen. Chris Daughtry made it bigger than Taylor Hicks. And mind telling me who is more popular between Clay Aiken and Reuben Studdard?

The biggest shock for me would be Jessica Sanchez not making it in the recording business. Win or lose, she ought to be one of the recording industry's newest brightest stars.

Just Lip Service

The much overrated BRP Gregorio del Pilar
“Our message to the world is clear: what is ours is ours. Setting foot on Recto Bank is no different from setting foot on Recto Avenue.”

Thus, PeNoy Aquino declared in his 2011 State of the Nation Address (SONA). He even announced that while he was making the speech, an American cutter which would become the much overrated BRP Gregorio del Pilar was sailing on its way to Manila from Hawaii.

It could not have been PeNoy's sense of nationalism that prompted him to include this in his SONA. After all, PeNoy came from a family of traitors. There's his lelang Ysidra who appropriated for herself and her family the funds of the Philippine revolutionary forces. His lolo and namesake was a Japanese collaborator who was convicted of treason. And of course, Aling Coring who sold out to the Yankees and campaigned for the retention of the US military bases in the country.

Mama's boy PeNoy it appears, is no different from his mother. Fact is, he has made a fact with Uncle Sam and agreed to be his pawn in the war games with China. Of course, PeNoy knew that he is endangering the country and millions of Filipino lives with this dangerous liaison, but what does he care? All that matters to him is to remain in office to protect the interest of his family.

This is why aside from Noynoying and persecuting PGMA and CJ Corona, PeNoy has been in the business of taking cheap shots at and provoking China.

Alas, a situation finally presented itself. A group of Chinese fishermen took refuge in Scarborough Shoal. The refurbished cutter, BRP Gregorio del Pilar was dispatched to apprehend the Chinese "incursion." A couple of Chinese maritime vessels came to the rescue of the fishermen.

What follows is the dissipation of PeNoy's SONA rhetoric. DFA invited the Chinese ambassador to a meeting to "peacefully resolve" the stand-off.

DFA even tried to downplay the situation when it reported in its website that:

In the morning of 10 April 2012, Tuesday, BRP GREGORIO DEL PILAR, in accordance with the established Rules of Engagement, dispatched a boarding team to inspect the fishing vessels and collect photos and other evidence of their catch. The inspection team reported that large amounts of illegally collected corals, giant clams and live sharks were found inside the compartments of the first fishing vessel that was boarded by the PN team.

The much overrated refurbished BRP Gregorio del Pilar, in most latest report, was pulled out from the scene. DZMM website reported:

The current Philippines-China stand off at the mouth of Scarborough Shoal proved that PeNoy's SONA was just lip service.

And where the hell is PeNoy? Noynoying? Kalokah!!! hihihi

It's Live and not Lift!
Last March 28, Raissa Robles replied to one of the comments on his blog regarding the alleged Greenhills incident where she figured. She said that she will post her reply on the issue.

And in one of her more recent posts, she announced that she "will be doing two things this week - Site maintenance And contemplation."

This is so typical of Raissa. Once confronted with issue, she will either find a way out or dismiss the whole thing. I remember when she learned that she will be offered by the prosecution as one of the witnesses.

But then, baka busy si Raissa so I will give her the benefit of the doubt. Sige Sistah Raissa, mag-shopping ka lang! hihihi

The Curious Case of the Greedy "Saint"

Aling Coring: Greedy, yes! Saint? No way!!
There were those who call her "Tcon of Democracy." This is something ironic considering that during Aling Coring's reign, there were more journalists killed per year compared to her predecessor.

The more blinded ones adored her and even suggested that she deserved to be elevated to sainthood. Now, this really gets to my nerve!

How can someone who's responsible for the most number of peasants killed be ever considered for sainthood? And was it under her reign when the country registered the most number of massacres and hamletting, resulting to immense economic and social dislocation?

After she declare that agrarian reform will be the centerpiece of her administration, she and the infamous Kamag-anak, Inc. led by younger brother Peping, moved to water down a progressive version of agrarian reform bill.

Very few know the fact that Aling Coring went to President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to intervene in the valuation of the Hacienda Luista land that will be expropriated for the construction of SCTEX.

Aba, aba, at isa pang aba!

So ano, santa ba? O talagang ganid??!!! hihihi

Easter Sunday Visions

The future's so bright, I gotta wear shades
Mystics and cultists generally regard the Holy Week as the most important season of the year. Many of them trek to mystical places to renew their vows and to further harness their powers.

For those who don't have an idea, I used to be a practicing wiccan. Unfortunately, nabuwag ang aming coven when the three other members left the country.

Anyway, early this morning, I was in a trance. Flashes of things that are bound to happen, came to me in rapid succession.

I was surprised pa nga. At first, I was dreaming I was with my Behbeh.

. . kaya niluwagan ko ang aking bra.

Then all of a sudden, there was total darkness. And right before me, flashes of glorious events began appearing. Some of them are kinda cryptic but dahil intelihente naman ako, gets ko agad.

Here are the most notable visions given to me:

  1. The House of Solon will be in a momentary disarray. A ragtag band of half-man, half-animal will try to steal the mace. Good thing the Old Man Keeper who is a survivor and a seasoned fighter prevailed. The House of Solon was renovated as new divisions were established.
  2. I saw a Golden Crown nicely cleaned and shimmering proudly for everyone to see. Many shed tears of joy but those who have lived in the dark despised the blinding aura and went berserk.
  3. A massive Crusade will be organized composed of Blue Boys, Green Brigade, Saintly Men and their faithful will sweep the brainless bunch their idol, the Palace Jester.
  4. Peace and order and contentment follows afterwards and New Knights were called upon to occupy the seat of the Round Table.
  5. The numbers 10-20-12 keep on flashing gloriously; it was so bright I was forced to wear shades.

The vision was interrupted when I heard some moaning.

I woke up with a smile on my face - safe si Behbeh ko at saved ang Philippines ko!

Racism and Roque's Own Racism

Filipino lawyer Harry Roque
Atty. Harry Roque is probably one of the most well-known lawyers in the country. And this is partly due to his being chikadora. The legal eagle always has something to say on issues, especially political ones. One of my amigas (classmate ko sa cooking class), calls Atty. Roque as super eksenadora.

True enough, whenever there are controversial issues, expect to see Roque's chubby face na nakabalandra sa tv screen. Maguindanao massacre, MOA-AD, electoral fraud, Corona impeachment.

So I was surprised to read yesterday a news about his crying foul over what he considered as racism. He even twitted:

"Was a victim of racism in LA. Hard to think that whites still feel superior in a city that's already predominantly Asian!"

Curiously, for a chikadora like him, the specific circumstances were not given.

Even news reports were kinda vague about what really happened. As of posting time, GMA News Online wrote that "Further details on where, when, and how the incident happened were not immediately available."

I turned to his blog, nada.

Anyway, what surprised me was Roque's tweets. He claimed to be a victim of racism but the words he used in his tweets amount to racism. I dunno with you guys, but for me, referring to an ethnic group by the color of the skin is racism, itself!

Not content with his 'racist" tweet, Roque added that it was "awful" that he and his family were treated like a "pariah by a bigoted caucasian."

Can someone please tell me if Roque's tweets are not racist? Unconsciously, Roque himself committed racism.

And just what he meant by "a city that's already predominantly Asian?" Such statement is irresponsible. Does he mean that "whites" be subservient to Asians?

For Roque's information, below is the cultural of Los Angeles based on the 2010 United States Census:

Whites: 29.4%
Hispanics or Latinos: 48.5%
African-Americans: 9.8%
Native Americans: 0.5%
Asians: 10.7%
Pacific Islanders: 0.2%
Some other race: 25.2%
Two or more races: 2.8%

So nasaan diyan ang sinasabi niya na Asians comprise the majority in Los Angeles?

I would understand how Roque felt had he told the whole story. It is wrong to claim that he was a victim of racism when he did not gave details. It is typical of Filipino politicking - accusing someone of wrongdoing without substantiating the accusation. Case in point, that of CJ Corona.

Who knows baka napangitan lang sa kanya yung Amerikano. If this was the case, then it's not racial discrimination but facial discrimination, di ba? hihihi

Happy Birthday President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo

Birthday Girl, President Arroyo
I was super-mega-ultra delighted when I got a text message last night inviting me to President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's birthday celebration later this afternoon. Unfortunately, I have a prior appointment that brought me several miles away from Metro Manila so it'll be impossible for me to make it.

As I was thinking for the birthday message for PGMA, I thought of what happened some 1979 years ago. Jesus of Nazarene humbly served, yet was betrayed by one his closest associates, vilified by the public and condemned by the government. He was sentenced to death after mock trial. He died on the cross, yet gloriously resurrected after three days.

President Arroyo served the Philippines the best she could. Her administration has lifted the country from decades of economic slumber. She accommodated political leaders who have expressed unwavering support for her and her programs.

But when Fate played its joke on her, many of those who benefited from her administration betrayed her and joined the uncivilized campaign of demonizing her. Worse, some even allowed themselves to be used by the vengeful PeNoy administration to lead the assault against her.

Charged in court and under detention, most of her political enemies might think that she's politically dead. Unfortunately for them, many still believe in her. It may take more than three days, but I am sure that the Filipinos will be enlightened and PGMA will resurrect politically.

Happy birthday President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo!

Modern-day Pontius Pilate

Kalokah! Kalokah! Kalokah!

I was forced to excuse myself from our village's traditional pabasa because of the text message I got. Apparently, there's a member of the Lower House who's going around spreading the lie that at least 16 senator-judges are sure to vote for CJ Corona's conviction.

PeNoy and his allies in the Lower House have definitely reached the lowest point. How can these idiots think of spinning lies and intrigue on a Semana Santa?

We all know that this spin about sure conviction of CJ Corona is nothing but a big fat lie. Each day, the prosecution's cases weaken. People are now realizing the real motivation of PeNoy's.

Kung di ba naman ugok ang sinumang nagpapakalat na ang mga senador ay boboto para i-convict si Corona when in a recent development, senators were aghast to find out that PeNoy has taken the liberty of opening their bank accounts without their prior consent??!!!

I heard that Manong Enrile registered a violent reaction to this latest move by PeNoy. Namutla nga daw si Drilon when the senate president asked him if he has any knowledge of the said action.

This might be the reason also behind the plot o unseat Manong Johnny Enrile as Senate President. But as early as now, this is one plot that is sure to fail. And when that day comes, si PeNoy, maghuhugas-kamay na naman at sasabihing desisyon yun ng partido at wala siyang kinalaman.

Talagang Pilato kahit kailan! Kalokah! hihihi

Juana Change, Wanna Laugh

Juana Change:  If looks could kill
I've followed the impeachment proceedings at the Senate. And just when I thought that it would be boring, I was darn mistaken. The idiotic prosecution panel never fails to provide comedy relief. From the girly whining voice of Tupas, to the numerous "Wow Mali" moments of Wally Bayola look-a-like, Pidi Barzaga to the childishness of private prosecutors like Atty. Aguirre, I always have a good laugh. So I really don't see the point why there would be a need for a Juana Change to enter the scene. To begin with, I never realy find Juana Change funny, despite her looks and figure that's so typical of a comedienne.

Someone whispered me that the Juana is in a noble crusade. But I wish someone should tell her that her unpalatable looks distract people from the message she wants to get across. You see, even the least noble cause needs a pleasing frontliner to be taken seriously.

Another thing going against Juana and her "noble" quest is the fact that she looks very much like senator-porksecutor Franklin Drilon.

During Marcos era, Drilon was a senior partner of ACCRA, the famous law firm that supported the dictatorship which was toppled in 1986.

When Aling Coring assumed power, aba ang Drilon, nasa eksena uli. He was secretary of DOLE from 1987 to 1990. It was under his term as labor secretary when the infamous Herrera Law was enacted. Herrera Law instituted labor contractualization in country, thus weakening unionism and the Philippine labor movement.

In 1990, Drilon left the labor department after he was appointed by Aling Coring as justice secretary.

When Ramos assumed the presidency in 1992, he was again named justice secretary. He left the cabinet in 1995 when he ran for senator under Lakas-NUCD.

In 1998, he bolted Lakas-NUCD to join Estrada's LAMMP. Talagang ang masiba laging gustong nasa kusina. hihihi

But when things starting to go wrong for Erap, Drilon was among the first to leave him. Ahas talaga.

At nung sunud-sunod na ang kontrobesya sa administrasyon ni President Arroyo, being a rat that he is, Drilon was again, among the first to abandon her. And now, this porcine senator is among PeNoy's closest political ally.

Tingnan mo nga naman, baboy, na ahas at rat pa!  Kalokah!!  hihihi

So everytime I see Juana Change, she instantly reminds me of Drilon. Juana Change could be dead serious in her advocacy, but to me she's just a big joke. A joke I don't think I wanna laugh at.

Pen is Mighty, But the Hand Is Faster

Aquino apologist, Raissa Robles
Raissa Robles has definitely earned the title of the most reliable among PeNoy apologists. Infact, she is so reliable that PeNoy could do without the useless Presidential Communicaations Operations Office. She is more ruthless than the humongous chair-wrecker, Billy Esposo.

No wonder, brainless Noytards hold Raissa in high esteem. The yellow zombies can't get enough of her; they just love her!

Unfortunately, one owner of a posh boutique in Greenhills does not share their fondness and love for Raissa.

A nasty rumor is spreading in the Internet about an incident where Raissa was caught shoplifting at the boutique. The small lady could have ended inside a cell had it not been for her husband, who by the way, is a look-alike of Atty. Aguirre.

I remember what my lelang used to tell us that lying is bad. "Ang sinunggaling ay kapatid ng magnanakaw." You can just imagine how worse it can get if a liar and a shoplifter is rolled into one! Que horror, di ba?

Now, who's to tell that Raissa's articles or blog posts are not lies?
