Another PeNoy Episode

Lecheng mukha yan!
I did not vote for PeNoy because I love my country so much, I don't want it to be ruled by someone whose state of mind is under question. President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has done so much in putting the economic structure in order at nakakapanghinayang na mawawaldas lang ang pinagpaguran niya ng isang taong di tuwid ang pag-iisip.

I've heard crazy things about PeNoy. And I've received information about the crazy things he does. Tulad na lang ng biglang pag-alis sa meeting without excusing himself, tapos didiretso sa isang room to smoke profusely at magsisisigaw. Andyan din ang mga kwento na inuuntog niya ang kanyang sarili sa pader, hence he was secretly referred to as Alburuto by Palace employees.

The Man Called Alburuto
Some more observant people who are working with PeNoy have noted that whenever merong matinding usapin nagiging unpredictable ang mood ni PeNoy. Masyado ding touchy at sensitive si PeNoy when it comes to public perception and opinion. Kapag di paborable sa kanya ang pangyayari at opinion ng public, he can be violent to the extent of throwing things at his people.

And just when I thought I've heard everything, here comes an explosive text coming from one of my ex-boyfriends.

Some anti-PeNoy may find this amusing. But naisip ko lang - what if magkaroon ng matinding episode si PeNoy while speaking before the public? What if this happens habang nasa abroad siya in an official state visit?

Letter from President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo
A few days ago, I got a letter from former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Apparently, she read the birthday message I posted in this blog site.

I've had a few opportunities of meeting PGMA in VMMC but never did I had an inkling that she will have the chance to read my blog. We all know that this oppressive regime has denied her access to computer and Internet. It turned out that someone printed out my post and had her read it.

Here is the text of former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's letter:

Dear Ingkay,

Thank you for the touching birthday message you posted in your blog.

It is heartwarming to know that there are many like you who appreciate what I have done. Please thank your like-minded readers for me.

More power to your blog and God bless you and your loved ones.

Sincerely,

Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (signed)

Noong panahon ng kampanya, PeNoy affirmed his unequivocal support for the RH Bill. In fact, he was one of the few presidential candidates who bravely made his position known, not minding the possible reprisal from the Catholic bloc (if there's such a thing). Isa pa, ang main base ng kanyang supporters - ang mga so-called civil society groups, ay very much active for the enactment of the bill

Then, on the occasion of PeNoy's visit to the United States, his handlers struck a deal with influential Church leaders to make him a recipient of an honorary degree from Fordham University. PeNoy was the eighth president to receive such conferment from the educational institution. Before him, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo was conferred Doctor of Laws in 2003. But such conferment on PeNoy was at the expense of RH Bill advocates. PeNoy betrayed those who believed him on the issue. PeNoy aborted the RH Bill!

Fordham University was founded by Roman Catholic Diocese of New York and used to be ran by Jesuits. The Philippine Roman Catholic Church plays a role in conferment of the award. It is therefore not surprising that the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos and Erap Estrada, did not receive the award.

If PeNoy and his minions will disprove this, I challenge them - dangle incentives to congressmen to finally tackle and pass the bill tulad nung ginagawa nila kapag meron silang bill na gustong i-railroad.

The Curious Case of the Greedy "Saint"

Aling Coring: Greedy, yes! Saint? No way!!
There were those who call her "Tcon of Democracy." This is something ironic considering that during Aling Coring's reign, there were more journalists killed per year compared to her predecessor.

The more blinded ones adored her and even suggested that she deserved to be elevated to sainthood. Now, this really gets to my nerve!

How can someone who's responsible for the most number of peasants killed be ever considered for sainthood? And was it under her reign when the country registered the most number of massacres and hamletting, resulting to immense economic and social dislocation?

After she declare that agrarian reform will be the centerpiece of her administration, she and the infamous Kamag-anak, Inc. led by younger brother Peping, moved to water down a progressive version of agrarian reform bill.

Very few know the fact that Aling Coring went to President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo to intervene in the valuation of the Hacienda Luista land that will be expropriated for the construction of SCTEX.

Aba, aba, at isa pang aba!

So ano, santa ba? O talagang ganid??!!! hihihi

Happy Birthday President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo

Birthday Girl, President Arroyo
I was super-mega-ultra delighted when I got a text message last night inviting me to President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's birthday celebration later this afternoon. Unfortunately, I have a prior appointment that brought me several miles away from Metro Manila so it'll be impossible for me to make it.

As I was thinking for the birthday message for PGMA, I thought of what happened some 1979 years ago. Jesus of Nazarene humbly served, yet was betrayed by one his closest associates, vilified by the public and condemned by the government. He was sentenced to death after mock trial. He died on the cross, yet gloriously resurrected after three days.

President Arroyo served the Philippines the best she could. Her administration has lifted the country from decades of economic slumber. She accommodated political leaders who have expressed unwavering support for her and her programs.

But when Fate played its joke on her, many of those who benefited from her administration betrayed her and joined the uncivilized campaign of demonizing her. Worse, some even allowed themselves to be used by the vengeful PeNoy administration to lead the assault against her.

Charged in court and under detention, most of her political enemies might think that she's politically dead. Unfortunately for them, many still believe in her. It may take more than three days, but I am sure that the Filipinos will be enlightened and PGMA will resurrect politically.

Happy birthday President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo!
