Another PeNoy Episode

Lecheng mukha yan!
I did not vote for PeNoy because I love my country so much, I don't want it to be ruled by someone whose state of mind is under question. President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo has done so much in putting the economic structure in order at nakakapanghinayang na mawawaldas lang ang pinagpaguran niya ng isang taong di tuwid ang pag-iisip.

I've heard crazy things about PeNoy. And I've received information about the crazy things he does. Tulad na lang ng biglang pag-alis sa meeting without excusing himself, tapos didiretso sa isang room to smoke profusely at magsisisigaw. Andyan din ang mga kwento na inuuntog niya ang kanyang sarili sa pader, hence he was secretly referred to as Alburuto by Palace employees.

The Man Called Alburuto
Some more observant people who are working with PeNoy have noted that whenever merong matinding usapin nagiging unpredictable ang mood ni PeNoy. Masyado ding touchy at sensitive si PeNoy when it comes to public perception and opinion. Kapag di paborable sa kanya ang pangyayari at opinion ng public, he can be violent to the extent of throwing things at his people.

And just when I thought I've heard everything, here comes an explosive text coming from one of my ex-boyfriends.

Some anti-PeNoy may find this amusing. But naisip ko lang - what if magkaroon ng matinding episode si PeNoy while speaking before the public? What if this happens habang nasa abroad siya in an official state visit?

When Wishes Come True

Chinese journalist plants Chinese flag on disputed Scarborough
I am speechless, tongue-tied, awed. PeNoy must be an effing lucky person. Now, I can see PeNoy's wishes coming true, one by one.

Months of PeNoy's provocations on China are now paying off.  Remember how this quarrelsome lunatic boasted in his SONA how he will defend the Philippines' outlying islands and islets against China?  Remember how he used regional and international assemblies to take cheap shots at China?

Tanda niyo pa ba when he said in the interview that China hasn't been exactly a good big brother to the Philippines?  This of course, is farthest from the truth.  Official trade figures will show that China and Hongkong combined are the biggest buyers of Philippine goods.  In 2010, Philippine exports to China and Hongkong accounted for 19.54% of the total.  Last year, Philippines exported 20.40% of its goods to China and Hongkong.

Wish No. 1 granted!

Many find the image of a daring Chinese journalist planting the Chinese flag on one of the disputed islands.  Now, eto na ang chance ni PeNoy to give substance to his empty and shallow provocations, to translate into action what he's been proclaiming since he took power.

After Uncle Sam made a categorical statement that the Philippines can not invoke the Mutual Defense Treaty of 1955, after his words for a united ASEAN against China fell on dead ears, I am sure, nagsisisi na si PeNoy for wishing a fight with China.

Sa totoo lang, on its own, walang binatbat ang Pilipinas sa China.  Chinese media are talking about silencing Philippines with loud cannon strikes.  In reality, kayang gupuin ng China ang Pilipinas even without firing a shot.

See what the recent travel ban will do to our tourism industry.

And I won't be surprise if the not so autonomous Hongkong SAR will follow suit and impose restrictions sa pagpasok ng mga Pinoy OFW sa teritoryo nito.

Let us see how this will be handled by PeNoy and his allies composed of the anti-China leftists, ultra-nationalist yellow media and oligarchs.

Another wish of PeNoy's that was granted ay yung deklarasyon ni CJ Corona na sya ay willing to take the witness stand.

Bago pa man magsimula ang impeachment, malakas na ang panawagan ni PeNoy at mga kaalyado nito for CJ Corona to take the witness stand.  But of course, we all know that this call is half-hearted and half-meant.

The impeachment case filed aganst Corona wasn't meant to endure a full-blown trial.  It was meant to embarrass the chief justice and force him to resign, like what they did to Ombudsman Mercy Gutierrez.  But much to their surprise, Corona stood his ground, formed a formidable defense panel, fight back.  PeNoy and cohorts were even surprised when they saw a snowballing support for the embattled Corona.

At ngayon, eto na ang bluff nila - kung walang tinatago si Corona, he should take the witness stand.  The call was intended to put Corona in a bad light, to make him appear that he is hiding something.

Kaya when Corona announced that he is prepared to take the stand, nangagkaripas ang mga hunghang. Kalokah!  hihihi

And as expected, si PeNoy, nganga na naman.

Ang moral of the stories?  Be careful sa pag-wish - you might just get it.

Many Believe PeNoy Exacting Revenge on CJ Corona

StratPolls release latest survey
Dahil sa mga naglalakihang balita na lumabas ngayon, I am not suprised if the latest result of StratPolls' survey which was conducted between April 28 to May 3, goes unnoticed.

StratPolls asked 1000 respondents from the National Capital Region if they believe PeNoy is exacting revenge on Chief Justice Corona.

Ito ay isang malaking turnaround compared sa survey that StratPolls made before the start of the impeachment last March 22 wherein 48% said the chief justice is guilty, 10% responded he is not guilty and 42% still undecided.

Result of StratPolls latest survey

So far, there's no doubt that CJ Corona has gained the upper hand in the impeachment. The defense panel ably demolished every single accusation that has been hurled against the chief justice. People Power if Corona is not convicted, they should think twice. This is because the same survey shows that 96% will respect a Senate's verdict of "NOT GUILTY."

Protest Music

Talking Bout A Revolution

Don't you know
They're talkin' bout a revolution
It sounds like a whisper
Don't you know
They're talkin' about a revolution
It sounds like a whisper
While they're standing in the welfare lines
Crying at the doorsteps of those armies of salvation
Wasting time in the unemployment lines
Sitting around waiting for a promotion
Poor people gonna rise up
And get their share
Poor people gonna rise up
And take what's theirs
Don't you know
You better run, run, run
Oh I said you better
Run, run, run
Finally the tables are starting to turn
Talkin' bout a revolution

More Poor in the Philippines

More poor Filipinos under PeNoy
I had a great time last night with FB friends, Fr. PennState, Sistah Cecille Ignacio, Kuya Nelson and MJ AR. Habang ang Kamaynilaan ay inuulan, we're comfortably seated in a Chinese restaurant feasting over fried frog legs, steamed lapu-lapu and mushroom and seafood soup.

So when I read the headlines of today's dailies, about the rise of poverty in the Philippines, I can't help but feel some kind of guilt.

Not that I am not expecting such news will hit the headlines, sooner or later. At isang katangahan ang umasa na may asensong magaganap under his do-nothing administration.

Penoy and his economic managers have been employing all types of statistical manipulation to hide the fact na pabulusok ang bansa. Poverty in the Philippines has become more pronounced that even the yellow media has no other choice but report it.

Yellow media is now unable to deodorize stinking Philippine poverty
Pro-PeNoy Philippine Daily Inquirer reported that Social Weather Station survey revealed that the number of poor Filipinos sharply rose from 9.1 million last December 2011 to 11.1 million as of March 2012.

Even Philippine Star which is owned by House Speaker Sonny Belmonte, a staunch PeNoy supporter, carried the news that self-rated poverty surges by 2 million.

GMA News reported that more than half of the households in the country is now under poverty line, a big leap from 45% which was registered last December 2012. This is also what the yellowest media outfit, ABS-CBN, posted in its website.

Straight path to extreme and more widespread poverty?
Anti-Arroyo blogsite, Rappler said that self-rated poverty rose the highest in Mindanao.  Malaya reported that poverty rate in Mindanao reached 72%, while Visayas registered 61%.

"Kung walang kurap, walang mahirap."   This was PeNoy's slogan last 2010 elections.  Kung lumalabas na mas marami ang mahirap ngayon, it is now safe to conclude na mas lumala ang kurapsyon sa ilalim ng rehimen na ito.

Letter from President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo
A few days ago, I got a letter from former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. Apparently, she read the birthday message I posted in this blog site.

I've had a few opportunities of meeting PGMA in VMMC but never did I had an inkling that she will have the chance to read my blog. We all know that this oppressive regime has denied her access to computer and Internet. It turned out that someone printed out my post and had her read it.

Here is the text of former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's letter:

Dear Ingkay,

Thank you for the touching birthday message you posted in your blog.

It is heartwarming to know that there are many like you who appreciate what I have done. Please thank your like-minded readers for me.

More power to your blog and God bless you and your loved ones.

Sincerely,

Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (signed)
